Christmas Carols
Carols usually have a strong tune and consist of a verse and/or chorus for group singing. They are often based on medieval chord patterns. Non-religious songs ("White Christmas" and "Frosty the Snowman", for example) are not Christmas Carols, though they are also popular during the Holiday Season, and are known as Christmas Songs.
